Bamboo for Ichendorf

The Bamboo in China symbolizes a long life, while in India the plant represents the friendship. For Ichendorf Bamboo stands for lightness and pureness, connected in a transparent bottle. This is the first product of Sottovoce, a collaboration with the architect Viviana Maggiolini to develop specific projects.

Great pleasure to partecipate at Earq 2015.
The EARQ - Encontro de Arquitetura e Design (Architecture and Design Meeting) is the largest architecture and design event in the Midwest and one of the largest in Brazil. The event is in the sixth year and it is a complete success of public, business and spontaneous media. The event is based on talks with icons of architecture and design for architects, designers, decorators, young professionals and students in the area.
Scheduled for 15, 16 and 17 of September, the EARQ 2015 was held again in the Oscar Niemeyer Cultural Center in Goiania, Brazil.

Silhouette lamps

This family of pendant lamps, presented in collaboration with Mercado Moderno Gallery during IDA in Rio de Janeiro, is inspired by the traditional construction of the lampshades for the scattering of light: a structure in metallic wire where is wound a tissue.

Medusa fruitbowl

The natural and dynamic shape of the jellyfish (called “Medusa” in Italian) is the inspiration to design this handmade fruit bowl which was presented during september 2015 at IDA an art and design fair in Rio de Janeiro.

Root vases for Driade

Root vases are officialy presented during i Saloni 2015 as new products of Driade collection.
I designed these vases, thinking about the flowers they are to contain - almost taking them back to their original habitat. What can be a better “container” than their own roots, the means by which nourishment and water gets to the petals and leaves?

Project Brazil

This project is the first collaboration between three Milan based design studios, Analogia Project (Andrea Mancuso and Emilia Serra), Giorgio Bonaguro and Marco Guazzini. These studios, usually working independently, created together an artdesign project to be presented during the design fair Design Weekend SP 2014, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Curated by Waldick Jatobà, the project consisted in a site-specific installation and a workshop, with the participation of the public. It was presented in two different places: Casa Electrolux, the first brand’s world flagship store, and MADE Pop-up, a design event created by curators Waldick Jatobà and Katia d'Avillez.

Bottega cabinets

The “Bottega” cabinets have an irregular shape composed of different drawers and doors, but all characterized by simple and geometric lines, in which completely different elements are "embedded" They are the perfect example of craftsmanship and traditional manufacturing techniques, typical of producers of "mobile d'arte" in the Verona area.

At Satellite 2013

The subject for SaloneSatellite 2013 is “Design and Craftsmanship: together for industry”: two ways for interpreting the projects that combine to create high quality products. Following this direction, I have developed new projects in collaboration with artisans from different Italian regions and bearers of traditional production techniques.

Roots Vases

The Roots vases are ambivalent objects that want to combine simple lines with an iconic shape: an outer clear glass cylinder is joined with an internal element in colored glass which represents the roots of a flower.

Scooby-Doo Lamp for La Lampe

The Scooby-Doo lamp on one hand wants to refer to the classicism in design, especially through the use of materials like copper and blown glass, on the other hand, wants to dialogue with modernity, represented by the desire of simplifying and the reduction of components to assemble it.

Sedie alla ribalta - Milano Design Week 2011

This coming edition of Milano Design Week 2011 the project Design for Charity will involve artists and designers in a creative event at Triennale di Milano.
A selection of artists, designers, photographers and graphic artists has been invited to re-interpret a well-known design work, the chair Milano 2015 – a contemporary version of the typical chairs in old-fashioned Milanese osteria – conveying through new layers of fabric, color and other elements, symbols and messages enriching and transforming this archetypical object with new meaning and function.
